BIOMIMICRY PROJECT
We had a wonderful trip to Garvagh forest on Friday morning, learning about our natural environment and what we can find.
We also met new friends from 5 other local primary schools. We were broken into 6 groups and played games at each different station in the forest.
To finish the morning, we met architecture students from Queen’s University. The students are learning how to use nature’s structures as inspiration for modern day buildings.
We look forward to our next session in Term 2 😊
